Time To Ride Into The Winds

Hurricane, Typhoon what does it matter. When one rolls around, you take the day off and bike ride into the wind.

Hurricane Norbert rolled through the southwest desert on 9/8/14 when Jonathan and his brother Alex played hookie from work and went to go play in the mud. 6.5 hours of riding soaked to the bone. Areas in the video include the Tortalina mountains just north of Tucson, AZ and the the San Pedro river valley near Mammoth and Dudleyville AZ. Both bikes are Suzuki DRZ-400’s.

Really, Kangaroo Island Exists!

This is Ryan visiting the south side of Australia, Kangaroo Island! A truly natural and almost untouched part of the world with beaches to die for and an abundance of wildlife from Kangaroos, Emus, Echidnas, Koalas and many more. In fact, the number of Koalas on the island outnumber the people (30,000 Koalas). A true wilderness paradise.

And, what a fun learning experience in winemaking. The staff is incredibly friendly and forthcoming with a vast amount of knowledge in winemaking and with a Professor of Yeastology on board, your visits to Grape Expectations are always exciting and memorable.

Think about this for a moment. So we know wine can be the mediator of many things but what about self branding. Or, what about corporate branding better yet, what about creating your own blend of wine and enjoying that heck out of that wine with family and friends.

One case, 12 bottles. One barrel… many many many bottles and, with your own label.

The entire process for this exhilarating experience is a must see. If you’re in the Henderson, Nevada area, stop by and see and smell for yourself. If you’re not in the area, then take a look at Grape Expectations website for further details. Then plan to make a visit the next time you’re out traveling to new destinations.

One thing that you won’t see in the pictures below is the bottling process. Why? Well, once the first few steps are taken to create your wine, the wine must now age for a few months. Stored up nicely in a fresh oak barrel, you will return months down the road to bottle your wine.

Road Trip To FoCo
